MISSION STATEMENT

The River Creek Aging in Place Network respects seniors living independently in their own homes surrounded by the natural beauty of our Potomac riverside community. Through thoughtful connection, friendly support and attentive guidance, our members help to ensure that every resident can age in place safely and happily. We celebrate a life enriched by lush landscaping, serene river views and walking trails that encourage good health and vitality, all while fostering a strong sense of community and belonging. Together, we create a four-season neighborhood where seniors thrive, are respected, cared for, and surrounded by neighbors of all ages who are committed to their well-being. We celebrate life with those who have a common desire to Age in Place gracefully and with quiet strength.

Join our community network dedicated to supporting seniors who have chosen to Age in Place.

Aging well is easier when we stay connected.

The River Creek Aging in Place Network is a welcoming community where seniors can remain active, engaged, and supported while continuing to live in the homes and neighborhood they love.

Through social gatherings, educational programs, technology support, and shared experiences, we help foster meaningful connections and enrich everyday life. Whether it’s learning something new, meeting neighbors, or simply staying involved, the Network is here to make life more connected, enjoyable, and fulfilling.

Together, we’re creating a stronger River Creek community where people can age with confidence, friendship, and peace of mind.

Dear Fran, . . . what you are doing is truly “above and beyond” as the saying goes! A LOT of planning has gone into this, and the Hills are grateful and impressed.

I still vividly recall what you did to provide access to those covid vaccines (seems like yesterday). It’s truly because of YOU that two of my volunteer friends and I were able to access this on January 1 of that year!!!

I love volunteering, but I can’t compete with what you have done. You may remember our neighbors from a few years ago, Ron and Melinda Southerland. They moved to Texas to be closer to family. Ron has spoken about those who “move the needle” in life. You are definitely doing that, and you have our support. Great friends and neighbors in Players View!

Love our Kormanns! Looking forward to getting together!
